Entry Level

North Fork Lumber is looking to add to our team. The Floater position allows the selected individual to train and learn how to effectively operate many different positions throughout our exciting manufacturing process. This is a great opportunity to become part of a successful team, with the opportunities of career advancement.

Electrician

Candidates must be self-motivated, a conscientious team player with a positive attitude and good work history.

Essential Functions include:

  • 3-5 years experience in sawmill environment, preferred
  • Ability to work safely / understands Lock out / Tag out 
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and drawings
  • Ability to use electrical test equipment, multi meter, megger, amp probe
  • Basic understanding of PLCs and ladder logic.
  • Ability to weld a plus but not necessary
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues independently
  • Ability to troubleshoot 240v, 120v, and 24v circuits
  • Familiar with 480v 3 phase motor starters
  • Hydraulic troubleshooting a plus
  • Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives a plus
  • Available to work overtime and weekends
